Who should you contact?
NYSSA is a not-for-profit corporation made up of a mix of volunteers, paid staff, hired consultants, and outside partners.
Volunteers include our Officers, Board of Directors (made up of District Directors), Clubs, and Members.
There are three Staff Members on the payroll: the Executive Director, the Trail Coordinator, and the General Manager.
Hired Consultants assist us with specific tasks: Jim Jennings (past Executive Director), Jim Cifarelli (Online Membership System) and Capitol Group (Lobbyists). From time to time we engage other outside services for specific tasks.
Our Partners include state agencies such as NYS OPRHP, NYS DEC, the NYS Trails Council, and many others. Please see the links page for links to our partners.
We ask that NYSSA Members and Clubs contact their District Director first with questions or issues. Your District Director's responsibilities include answering these questions, and bringing issues forward to the Board of Directors when necessary.
