NYSSA Meetings

The February 7 Board of Directors meeting will be held in Canastota, NY in the Central region of New York to provide an opportunity for area snowmobilers to attend.

  I have reserved 12 rooms for Feb. 6th.  If someone wants a room for the 7th. there are rooms available at this time.  The rates are $55.00 for a single, one queen bed, $59.00 for a double, 2 double beds.  There is also a conference room available for your meeting on Friday night.  The room will accommodate about 40 people so will work fine.  There will be no charge for the conference room if we book at least 10 rooms.  Doug will also have some refreshments for the Friday night meeting.  The dead line for reserving a room is January 30, 2009.  There is also plenty of parking.  The Hotel is right off the Thruway with a Dunkin Donuts next door, a gas station and restaurant within a short walking distance.

  I told Rusty that we would have at least 60 people for the meeting and needed a separate room for the Executive meeting at 8:00AM.  He has four different rooms so there will not be a problem accommodating us.  There is also a very large parking lot for vehicles and trailers.
  Lunch will include the usual lunch buffet menu: Zitti, sausage, chicken, potatoes drinks etc.  The total cost, including coffee and donuts in the morning is $18.00 per plate, which includes gratuity.  We are still working out the details for a ride, but there is a trail from the Hotel and should be one coming into the Rusty Rail.  I still need to find out if the Restaurant has Internet service, but will let you know as soon as I hear back from Rusty.
