DMV Mails Snowmobile Renewals in July!
The NYS Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has informed us that Snowmobile Registration Renewals began mailing on July 22 this year!
Remember, if you are a NYSSA snowmobile club member, you pay just $45 to register your sled, versus $100 per sled if you are not a member.
How to Renew Your
Snowmobile Club Membership Online!
We've made it easy to get your Club Membership voucher online (however you'll still have to mail your registration renewal, along with the voucher and your check, to DMV).
Save money and renew now! Why wait til winter when you have the additional expense of heating your home, buying holiday gifts, etc!
You'll need your NYSSA 6-digit member number, which is on your membership card, and can also be found on last years' voucher.
Next you need your password. (Hint: It must contain at least six characters, and one of those must be a number) If you don't know it, click on Reset Password. As long as we have your correct email address, a message will be sent to you so you can reset the password.
- Once you are logged in, make sure all your contact info is correct and that your name and mailing address is the same as listed on your Snowmobile Registration Renewal from DMV.
- Click on EDIT if you need to update anything.
- Click on RENEW to the right of your club name, pay by credit card, print your voucher and you're all set!
Helpful Tips:
- Debit cards or Gift cards that don't have a Mastercard or Visa logo cannot be accepted!
- Print an extra copy of your voucher and write your password on it for next year!
- Remember to sign your voucher.
- Sign your DMV Registration Renewal twice on the back.
- Include your check for $45 per sled made out to 'Commissioner of Motor Vehicles'.
- Mail to the DMV!
