- Alcohol and Snowmobiling Don’t Mix
- Obey the Rules and Laws of the State in Which You Are Riding
- Stay on marked trails or roads and riding areas open to snowmobiling.
- Check for any special laws, regulations or closures
- Ride Responsibly
- Respect the rights of property owners
- Exhaust systems should not be modified in a way that increases sound levels
- Never ride alone
- Let someone know your planned route, destination and when you will arrive
- Ride smart, be prepared and stay in control
- Respect All Wildlife
- Do not harass or harm wildlife or their surroundings
- Respect Wilderness Closures
- Respect those areas that are off-limits to motorized vehicles
- All users have a responsibility to care for and share the lands
- Respect All User Groups
- Be courteous to other people recreating
- Only pass when conditions are safe and never pass on blind corners
- Always stay to the right of the trail
- Make Responsible Choices - You are an Ambassador for our Sport!
- Promote proper snowmobile education and training
- Peer pressure works. Use your influence to promote responsible conduct.
